Group Evanescence history has begun in 1996, Whether when the student of art academy Emi who had a rest from study in summer camp, has got acquainted with the student of the same academy Ben Mudi.

Having got acquainted and having talked, Emi and Ben have decided that at them much in common, and have started to meet. Fortunately for all world rock music, during these meetings young men weren't limited to any dialogue, and have started to write songs. The primary drama of human existence became the basic theme of songs of Emi and Ben. As regards music young men were guided by creativity Bjork, Tori Amos, etc. As a result at them the music similar to alternative fate has turned out.
