Brown has let out the debut album Chris Brown in the end of 2005 in 16 years. The album included a single «Run It!», headed hit parade Billboard Hot 100 thanks to what Brown became the first singer which debut single has headed a chart. Brown's second studio album, Exclusive, has been let out worldwide in November 2007. Two successful singles have been included In it: the second hit number one in America, «Kiss Kiss» with the assistance of T-Pain and «With You», become by number two in Billboard Hot 100. Brown has let out delux the version of an album named The Forever Edition. The first single from it, «Forever», has been let out in May 2008 and has reached numbers two in Billboard Hot 100. Exclusive has been certificated RIAA by the platinum.

In addition to the solo commercial successes, Brown took part in creation of some hits, such as «No Air», a duet with singer Jordin Sparks, «Shortie like Mine» with rapper Bow Wow and «Shawty Get Loose» together with Lil Mama and T-Pain. Songs have reached the third, ninth and tenth lines in Billboard Hot 100 accordingly.
